About the Position
It's election season and we need your help Calling all Customer Service professionals
As a Temporary Hotline Representative, you are responsible for taking inbound calls from Poll Workers at Vote Centers, Troubleshooters, or Curbside Voters.
You will provide your troubleshooting expertise over the phone, placing tickets for ordered supplies, or dispatching help to the Vote Center.
The Temporary Hotline Representative, is a temporary assignment with Maricopa County before, during, and after the election cycle.About Us

The Maricopa County Elections is hosting an in-person hiring event on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM Join us at the Maricopa County Sheriff's Training Center located at
2627 S. 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED.
We Also Value
- One or more years of general office experience
- One or more years of moderate computer use experience
- One or more years of election experience
- One or more years of customer service experience
- One or more years of experience working multiline telephones
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not necessary
- Takes inbound calls from Poll Workers at Vote Centers, Troubleshooters, or Curbside Voters
- Creates tickets detailing the call and what transpired
- Provides troubleshooting over the phone, placing tickets for order supplies, or dispatching help to the Vote Center
- Assists other divisions of Elections with their daily functions and activities
- Fulltime/Temporary/Overtime hours are mandatory during the election cycle
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Upper extremity repetitive motion
- Ability to review small font on hard copy or computer screen
- Highvolume work with constant distributions
- Ability to lift floortoshoulder and shouldertowaist a minimum of 25 pounds and carry for 100 feet
- Large volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Must demonstrate the ability to multitask in a highvolume and timecritical work environment
