Your Profile

You are interested in anatomy and physiology. You also have a passion for foot care and health.

You have good fine motor skills. As a podiatrist, dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential. Precise and careful work, especially when it comes to disinfecting and sterilizing tools, is crucial.

You have good physical endurance. The job often requires standing for long periods of time and performing precise hand movements.

You enjoy working with people. Empathy for others' needs and clear communication are necessary for explaining medical concepts to patients and building trusting relationships. In podiatry practices, rehabilitation clinics, and hospitals, you will work as part of a team and communicate with other healthcare professionals.

You are able to work independently. The ability to work independently is crucial, as you will often have to make decisions and develop individual treatment plans on your own.

You understand the importance of confidentiality. You should be able to handle patient information confidentially.
