    Job DescriptionDescription:

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Survey Technician Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of surveying and contribute to the development of innovative mapping deliverables.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist the land surveyor in determining boundary lines, property corners, and other markers using surveying equipment and tools.

    Create maps, plans, and reports of the surveyed area.

    Collect and analyze data to identify potential areas of concern and to ensure the accuracy of survey results.

    Communicate with team members to ensure project objectives are met and to resolve any issues that arise during the survey process.

    Maintain survey equipment and ensure that it is calibrated properly.

    Follow all safety protocols and stay aware of potential hazards on job sites.

    Maintain project files and documentation in an organized manner

    Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the team

    Requirements:

    Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a GIS, Surveying Engineering Technology or related program

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.

    Must be able to work in the field or office daily, as this is not a hybrid position
