Our client, located in the Dortmund area, is currently seeking a Chief Physician (m/f/d) for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery to join their team as soon as possible.

The hospital is a primary care facility with a 50-bed Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery department that performs approximately 1800 surgeries per year. The department is certified as a trauma center and is authorized to treat work-related injuries by the professional associations. Additionally, the department has a focus on endoprosthetics.

Your new workplace is only a short 30-minute commute from the center of Dortmund. This diverse city offers attractions such as the Ostwall Museum of Modern Art and the Romberg Park. You will have the opportunity to take on a new challenge and explore all that the city has to offer.

Your responsibilities - demanding and diverse

  • Assisting in the management of the department and its staff
  • Performing surgical procedures
  • Continuously developing the department
  • Training and mentoring resident physicians
  • Participating in on-call duties

Your profile - professional and personal

  • German medical license
  • Specialist in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery
  • Additional qualification in Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine is advantageous
