Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company based in Erlangen.

With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry. Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and design, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities:

Design of nuclear measurement technology and its integration within the overall control system concept
Interdisciplinary collaboration with relevant departments for mechanical engineering and control cabinet design
System engineering including requirements management
Participation in the testing field for system function tests
Testing of the measurement chain in the radiochemical laboratory
Preparation of tender documents and review of subcontractor documentation

Your profile:

Degree in physics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
Practical experience in the laboratory, testing field or on systems
Expertise in measurement technology and automation technology
Experience in research and development
Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
