Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with implementing treatment plans developed by the physical therapist
Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and stretches
Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process
Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Qualifications and Skills:

Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field
State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
CPR certification
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and exercises
Ability to lift and move patients as needed
Excellent organizational and time management skills
