Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients.

This role involves assisting in the implementation of treatment plans and exercises, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a safe and effective therapy environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
Conduct exercises and therapies with patients according to their individual needs
Monitor and document patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
Provide guidance and support to patients during therapy sessions
Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Follow all safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications and Skills:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
Valid state licensure or certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and practices
Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with exercises
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
