Deublin was founded as a family business in 1945 in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. Since then, Deublin has been a leader in the production of rotary unions - a mechanical component that allows the transfer of pressurized fluids from a stationary source to rotating machine parts.

In 1989, the portfolio was expanded to include steam rotary unions and siphon systems for dry cylinders in paper machines, and a few years ago, electric slip rings and slip ring transmitters were added.

The German factory was founded in 1969 in Hofheim-Wallau and was relocated to Mainz in 2016.

Deublin is active worldwide and has subsidiaries in Brazil, China, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Austria, Poland, Spain, and Singapore, as well as authorized representatives in many other countries around the world.

Since 2019, Deublin has been part of the HOERBIGER Group and forms the core of the Rotary Solutions business unit.
