Description

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will independently carry out all activities of the testing process within the framework of our software's testing strategy.
  • You will support the preparation and execution of manual tests for integration and system testing based on specific requirements.
  • You will proficiently apply methods such as systematic and exploratory testing.
  • Afterwards, you will analyze and evaluate test results and risks, and provide release recommendations for the tested software.
  • You will create error reports and notes for error reproduction to support software development.
  • Additionally, you will assist in setting up and installing test environments.
  • You will contribute to expanding our product documentation.
  • You will work closely with the Software Development and Project Management departments.

Your Profile:

  • You have completed a degree in computer science, a successful apprenticeship as a computer scientist, or have a comparable qualification.
  • Ideally, you have completed a qualification as a software tester (m/f/d) (e.g. ISTQB CTFL or similar) or have professional experience in this field.
  • You are proficient in using testing, analysis, and quality assurance tools (e.g. Jira/Zephyr, network analysis tools Fiddler/Wireshark, and/or process analysis tools ProcMon).
  • You have knowledge of MS SQL and/or Oracle databases.
  • Your high quality awareness is reflected in your careful, structured, and solutionoriented way of working.
  • You have excellent communication skills in German, both written and spoken (at least C1 level).
