    Description

    We are currently looking for an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic defense litigation firm, specializing in general litigation and environmental law.

    • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of practical litigation experience, handling cases from beginning to end, involving intricate motion practice, pleadings, discovery, depositions, client interaction, and overseeing junior associates.
    • Location: Based in Burbank, California; offering a hybrid work setup.
    • Requirements:
      • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
      • CA State Bar License.
      • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including advocacy skills.
      • Effective time management and organizational skills.
      • Detail-oriented with proficient computer skills.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Familiarity with environmental law, including fundamental environmental regulations like CERCLA.
      • Background in geology or hydrogeology.
      • Experience in trials, class actions, toxic torts, and/or cases involving environmental regulatory agencies.
      • Administrative and supervisory experience.
    • Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Manage discovery processes, including written discovery, depositions, and document examination.
      • Compose legal documents such as pleadings and complex motions.
      • Conduct legal research.
      • Appear in court when necessary.
      • Supervise junior associates and adhere to instructions from supervising partners.
    • Pay: To be determined.
