- Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings
- Counsel associates to resolve or prevent conflicts
- Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
- Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
- Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
- Bachelor's degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
- Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills

Job DescriptionDo you want the ability to try cases and run a firm without dealing with the burdens of being a business owner?
Our growing firm is seeking an experienced partner/attorney who can lead a team in litigation and get results. We handle personal injury and landlord-tenant habitability cases. You should be familiar with at least one of these practice areas.
You will have the ability to choose your caseload, work independently, and zealously represent clients to obtain full compensation. You will have a team of support staff and associates. You will receive a share of the attorneys fees on the cases you handle with your team. Trial experience is preferred but not required. Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of California Civil Procedure is required.
Compensation:$250,000 - $300,000 yearly
