Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a ***** Signaling and Safety Technology (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at the Aachen, Bonn, Cologne or Troisdorf location.
Your tasks:

Performing railway crossing safety measures during inspection and troubleshooting work at railway crossings
Participation in on-call duty in the Cologne network
Support as a skilled worker in inspections with the power supply and cable team, as well as support as a skilled worker in the signaling and safety technology workshops (LST)
Carrying out relay room cleaning (LST prevention program) on your own
Performing work for preventive corrosion protection on signals, as well as painting signal control boxes and track switch pots
Inspection, maintenance and repair of cable routes, cable cabinets and cable crossings in cooperation with the cable team

Your profile:

You have successfully completed vocational training
You meet the medical and psychological fitness requirements (will be checked as part of the selection process)
We expect you to be willing to complete training as a self-secure and railway crossing guard
You don't mind working outdoors
Class B driver's license
