Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care and support to individuals recovering from surgical procedures and medical conditions.

Your primary role will involve assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assessing and monitoring patient conditions, identifying any changes or abnormalities.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Providing patient education on post-operative care and recovery.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid RN license in the state of practice.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
