Job Overview:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Janitor/EVS Tech to join our team., you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in a hospital or healthcare facility.

Your role will involve performing various custodial and cleaning tasks to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to established procedures
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
  • Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for different surfaces and materials
  • Operate floor care equipment to maintain cleanliness and appearance of floors

Experience:


  • Previous experience in environmental services or commercial cleaning preferred
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
  • Familiarity with hospital or healthcare facility cleaning protocols is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Job Type:
Contract


Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Rotating weekends

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Hospital Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

  • Janitorial/Custodian: 1 year (required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Newport Beach, CA (required)
