    Summary of Position
  • This role supports strategic and critical project initiatives for the Enterprise Technology and Services team, in support of USNH leadership priorities. As an integral member of the Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO) reporting to the Director, your role will involve working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams to drive project success.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and document clear and detailed business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business cases, requirement specifications, and reports.
  • Perform data analysis to support business decisions and improve processes.
  • Assist in the design and testing of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of project proposals, including scope definition, budget estimation, and resource planning.
  • Work with the PMO to prioritize IT projects based on business impact and resource availability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.

    Other minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Information Systems, or related area, plus three years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience in requirements gathering through document and data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and effective group facilitation.
  • A thorough understanding of how to capture customer business needs and translate them into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating detailed documentation through various formats (i.e., text, diagrams/visualizations, process maps, requirements registries).
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Preference to work in a dynamic environment, interfacing with diverse team members and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education.
  • Broadbased information technology experience.
  • Training and/certification in process analysis and process improvement methodologies such as Lean, continuous process improvement, or Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • Knowledgeable in or able to quickly learn common tools leveraged by project managers.
  • Proficiency with Office 365.
