The position of "Head/HR Manager (m/f/d) Human Resources Department" will initially be filled as a parental leave replacement in South Pekin, IL.

Your responsibilities will include:

Advising and supporting managers on all personnel and labor law issues
Driving strategic HR topics
Assisting with operational personnel management (excluding senior executives)
Responsibility for the complete recruiting process to fill vacant positions in a timely and qualified manner
Acting as a contact person for temporary employment agencies, recruitment agencies, etc.
Responsibility for personnel development and training
Designing target groupspecific personnel marketing campaigns and representing the company at trade fairs to attract qualified young professionals and professionals
Creating evaluations and statistics
Managing the HR area in the internal document management system in accordance with the current HR process
Collaborating on crosssite project topics
Acting as a contact and coordinator for works council matters
Managing subordinate employees to achieve departmental goals

You bring with you:

Completed business administration degree with a focus on HR or comparable qualification in the HR field
Several years of professional experience in the HR department of a manufacturing company and ideally first leadership experience
Practical knowledge of labor and social security law
Proficient in MS Office and ideally SAP HCM and Hydra
Good knowledge of English
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, independent, and structured way of working
Quick comprehension and good judgment
