Secure workplace, secure living space - welcome to the Sonnenschein Children and Youth House in Seaside, OR

  • We are looking for educators for our residential group
:


  • The possible regular working hours are between
    19 and 31 hours/week. How many hours would you like to work?
  • This is shift work, including weekends and holidays, with night shifts. Our proactive and flexible scheduling allows for a good balance between work and personal life.
  • The
    location is in the idyllic
    Frohnau, part of the Reinickendorf district in Berlin. Here, there are two outdoor residential groups, the Sonnenschein Children and Youth Houses.
In the outdoor residential group, nine children and teenagers from the age of six live in a family-like setting.

There is a great spacious area around the house - a fantastic workplace that offers diversity and opportunities for creativity.


The tasks...

As an important part of a team, you will shape the daily lives of the children and youth and create a "safe place". At the same time, as a primary caregiver, you will provide reliable relationship offers and be a trusted contact person for each young person. You recognize and promote individual competencies, resources, and talents. You provide guidance for the children and youth and offer opportunities for participation and social inclusion. Your responsibilities also include planning and organizing special events throughout the year, such as birthdays, celebrations, and holiday
