    Entry-Level Technical Sales Representative - Evansville, United States - Keyence

    Available for January or July 2024 Training Classes.

    When you apply, you can choose up to 2 preferred locations where you'd be comfortable working.

    We will hire you for one sales office based on your preference, within which you'll have a specific territory.

    You won't need to travel all over the country for this role. The total compensation ranges from $82,530 to $107,010, depending on the location, incorporating base salary incentives.

    As a Technical Sales Representative, your main task will be to proactively grow our customer base and business with both new and existing clients within your assigned sales area.

    At KEYENCE, our direct-sales team members spend two days a week at a local sales office and three days visiting clients to offer solution-based sales consultations.

    You will be challenged to gain in-depth knowledge about our products, industry, and business model through comprehensive training sessions, mentorship, and continuous development opportunities.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Find new business opportunities through cold calls, warm leads, and collaboration with the sales team to surpass monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
    • Engage directly with clients to grasp their operations and offer face-to-face consultations to enhance their organization by implementing KEYENCE products.
    • Show great flexibility in meeting KEYENCE's expectations and overcoming challenges presented by customers.
    • Travel to customer sites three days a week and excel in various manufacturing and laboratory environments.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Driven and hard-working with a goal to contribute significantly to KEYENCE's success.
    • Eager to enhance your skills through our rigorous training, mentorship, proactive sales tactics, and supportive management.
    • Willingness to travel more than 60% of the time, including potential overnight stays.
    • Able to lift and transport 35-85 lbs. of demo equipment to and from locations using a dolly.
    • Need to have a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license at all times. Depending on product sizes, a larger vehicle may be necessary.
