Within our RheinEnergie Trading GmbH, we are currently looking for a Short-Term Trader (m/f/d) at our location in Cologne.


Responsibilities:


  • Independent management of shortterm hedge and proprietary trading portfolios through the autonomous conclusion of contracts in the shortterm exchange and overthecounter electricity and gas wholesale market
  • Developing and implementing strategies for crosscommodity optimization of power plant flexibilities
  • Developing, utilizing, and monitoring trading strategies within the use of auto and algotrading systems
  • Responsible for schedule registration, nomination, and communication with electricity transmission and longdistance gas network operators

Profile:


  • Completed university degree in economics, information technology, or engineering
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in energy trading and logistics, including sales and generation aspects
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, relevant exchange and trading software, and at least basic knowledge of programming languages such as
