Your position in our crew

  • Whether for mega yachts or naval ships: you are dedicated to reducing noise levels on board and eliminating disruptive sounds.
  • To achieve this, you will create sound predictions and overall/detailed acoustic concepts, as well as corresponding performance specifications.
  • You will also use your expertise in the allocation of subcontractor services and independently implement measures to increase acoustic comfort on board.
  • For reliable results, you will conduct independent measurements in accordance with standards, including air noise levels, air and impact sound insulation, reverberation times, and mechanical vibrations. This includes maintaining and updating measurement equipment.
  • Of course, all parties involved in the process (customer representatives, classification societies, subcontractors, and external consultants) will see you as a knowledgeable point of contact.
  • Lastly, you will be responsible for planning and conducting factory, port, and sea acceptance tests, which will take you to interesting port cities around the world.

What you bring on board

  • Completed degree (diploma/master) in engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the maritime industry / shipbuilding industry or with a supplier (e.g. engine, gearbox, clutch manufacturer), engineering or consulting firm, testing institute, classification society
