Data Engineer - Charlotte Court House

Hybrid role in Hamburg

A consultancy based in Hamburg is seeking talented Data Engineers to join their team. You will work on projects for clients in various industries across Germany, collaborating with a close-knit team of like-minded individuals.

What qualifications do you need?

You should have hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, preferably with 4-6 years of experience. You must also reside in Hamburg or within a one-hour commute to the city center and have at least a B2 level of proficiency in German. A passion for data and a desire to work on client projects is essential. Previous experience in consultancy is preferred, and a commitment to long-term employment with the company is desired.

Experience with Kafka, Airflow, and Spark is required.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will be responsible for building and maintaining data warehouses, as well as extracting data from existing ones. You will also use ETL processes to create pipelines and utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, and Scala. Ensuring the security of data is also a crucial aspect of this role. You will be expected to push the boundaries and strive for the best results for your team and organization.
