Position: Data Disposal Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Cologne

About us:

We are currently looking for a reliable support in data disposal for an ongoing client project. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in deleting, removing, destroying, and disposing of sensitive data according to the highest security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Proper deletion of sensitive data from various data carriers (hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks, etc.).
  • Removal of data carriers from different devices and systems.
  • Implementation of destruction procedures for data carriers to make data recovery impossible.
  • Organization and coordination of hardware disposal in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
  • Documentation of all processes and measures taken.

Requirements:

  • Completed education in the IT field or equivalent qualification.
  • Thorough IT knowledge and understanding of different types of data carriers and storage technologies.
  • Thorough and reliable work ethic, especially when handling sensitive data.
  • Responsibility and adherence to security and data protection policies.
  • Teamwork and good communication skills.
