Location:
Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Natural Sciences (Department of Mathematics), Applied Mathematics, Milan, GA

Salary:
EGR. 13 TV-L

Start date:
April 1, 2023 or October 1, 2023, fixed-term for two years (based on the German Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act)

Workload:
Part-time suitable full-time position

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include primarily scientific services in research and teaching. Outside of work duties, there is opportunity for scientific further education.

Area of responsibility:

The position typically includes teaching obligations of 4 LVS, including basic teaching in mathematical degree programs, courses for programs in other disciplines (especially at TU Hamburg), and teaching in teacher training programs; the courses are predominantly taught in German.

Qualifications:

Completion of a university degree appropriate for the tasks.

A completed doctorate upon starting the position is desired.

Please submit either the doctoral certificate or a confirmation from your university stating when the dissertation was/will be submitted and when the doctoral process is expected to be formally completed with the signing of the certificate.

We require German language skills at least at a C1 level.
