Position Summary:

The Restoration Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the restoration of properties affected by disasters such as fires, floods, and storms. This role requires a unique combination of technical knowledge, project management abilities, and exceptional customer service skills. You will supervise the entire restoration process, from initial damage assessment to repair completion, ensuring the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Professionalism and Customer Service:
  - Uphold top-tier professionalism and customer service, especially when handling production, mechanical, and scheduling challenges.
• Handle customer service matters to guarantee customer contentment.

• Effective Communication:
  - Maintain transparent and consistent communication with insurance adjusters and auditors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• - Utilize Restore365 for detailed daily job notes to enhance internal communication with production and administrative teams.
• - Maintain proactive communication with active clients.

• Inventory and Cost Management:
  - Oversee content and storage tracking for all fire losses meticulously.
• - Conduct comprehensive job cost analyses to ensure financial precision and efficiency.
• - Ensure subcontractor costs align with project specifications and budgets.
• - Handle service damage claims meticulously to maintain high standards of accountability and documentation.

• Safety and Compliance:
  - Advocate for and comply with the company's safety program, promoting the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and best practices for a secure work environment.

• Technical Proficiency:
  - Demonstrate complete proficiency in industry-specific software like Quickbooks Time/TSheets, Restore365, Microsoft Outlook, MICA mobility, Xactimate, Luxor, GoCanvas, including the ability to generate accurate estimates in Xactimate and manage sales contacts in CRM systems.

• Operational Excellence:
  - Ensure prompt and proper execution of restoration production work, adhering to both company standards and program requirements, including inspections, estimations, and physical restoration task execution.

• Documentation and Quality Control:
  - Ensure all production staff complete necessary documentation for restoration jobs, including job forms, notes, MICA/drying records, estimates, and equipment tracking, to maintain high standards of quality and accountability.

• On-Call Responsibilities:
  - Participate in an on-call schedule to ensure swift response and resolution of emergency situations, showcasing preparedness and reliability.

• Subcontractor Management:
  - Manage subcontractors for supervised projects, ensuring the delivery of quality services and fostering strong professional relationships.

• Business Development and Relationship Building:
  - Actively cultivate and maintain key client relationships through direct sales efforts, networking, and industry event participation.
• - Manage contacts, activities, and expenses within CRM to assess the effectiveness and ROI of sales endeavors.

• Comprehensive Project Management and Oversight:
  - Demonstrate strong project management skills by overseeing all phases of restoration projects from initial damage assessments to completion. Ensure smooth and efficient execution by managing project scopes, timelines, budgets, and coordinating effectively with team members and external partners for optimal results.
• - Provide all estimates and scopes of work to customers within 24 hours when required.

• Position Requirements:
  - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the disaster restoration industry with substantial knowledge of restoration techniques, materials, and equipment.
• - Required certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, FSRT IICRC) with additional certifications like OCT, AMRT preferred.
• - Proficiency in specific software platforms and strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• - Valid driver's license complying with company insurance requirements and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• - Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• - Proven experience in disaster restoration or a related field focusing on sales growth and customer acquisition.

Travel:

This role does not involve overnight travel, although such opportunities may arise for out-of-state assignments or educational purposes.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

The physical aspects of this position vary. Administrative/office work may include sitting for extended periods, extensive keyboard/computer use, talking, hearing, and close visual attention. On-site duties may require medium physical exertion with various activities like climbing, balancing, kneeling, and lifting. Environmental conditions may include exposure to different weather elements, hazards, and tight spaces.
