Your Role:

As a Legal Counsel at Kyon Energy in Myersville, MD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the legal integrity and success of our battery storage projects.

Your expertise in contract law and negotiation skills are essential in ensuring smooth execution of our contracts and minimizing legal risks.

You will be responsible for reviewing and assisting in the negotiation of various contracts, including purchase, investment, lease, supply, service, and cooperation agreements.

Your careful analysis and legal expertise will ensure that these contracts align with our interests and comply with applicable laws.

You will work closely with external law firms specializing in energy, construction, and corporate law to ensure our legal requirements are met and our projects are successfully implemented.

Your Responsibilities:

Reviewing and negotiating contracts, including purchase, investment, lease, supply, service, and cooperation agreements
Coordinating with external law firms specializing in energy, construction, and corporate law
Advising management on legal matters related to project development, permits, and financing
Identifying and evaluating legal risks and providing recommendations for risk mitigation
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contract terms
Pursuing and enforcing claims and disputes
Collaborating with external law firms and authorities

Your Profile:

Completed law degree and admission to the bar
Indepth knowledge of contract law and negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and communicate legal issues
