Job Summary:

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assessing and evaluating patients' post-operative conditions
Monitoring vital signs and managing pain levels
Collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to provide the best patient care
Ensuring patients' safety and comfort during the recovery process
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
Documenting patient care accurately and timely
Participating in continuous education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid RN license in the state of practice
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU setting
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
