Job Summary:


As a Short Stay Unit RN (
PCU, Telemetry Nurse), you will provide specialized nursing care to patients in a short stay unit, Progressive Care Unit (
PCU), or telemetry unit.

You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the medical team to create individualized care plans for each patient.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately and timely
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in
    PCU or telemetry nursing
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
