We are looking to fill a position for our environmental project as part of the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) or Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ) (m/f/d) for 39 hours, limited to one year starting on January 1, 2023 in Gowen, OK.

Possible FSJ providers could be the ASB (Arbeitssamariterbund) based in Nuremberg or the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband based in Munich.

About the project:

As part of the funding project of ZUG - Zukunft-Umwelt-Gesellschaft gGmbH, we are developing an energy-saving model for 15 childcare facilities in and around Munich.

Our goal is to raise awareness among children, parents, and employees about sustainable thinking and acting. We aim to reduce our energy consumption and establish resource-saving behaviors in our daily lives for the long term.

The project also includes, for example, switching to environmentally friendly, fair, and organic alternatives for cleaning products, consumables, and play materials.

The project is accompanied by internal energy teams who act as multipliers and actively implement our goals in the facilities.

Our project, the educational material created ("Climate Box"), and the implementation in the facilities should motivate and serve as an example for other facilities and cooperation partners.

In addition to excursions and workshops, parent evenings and action days are planned.
