  • Purpose
  • The Prospect Management Analyst (PMA) will report to the Assistant Director (AD) of Prospect Management (PM). The PMA will provide prospect management support for frontline gift officers (GOs) in meeting their solicitation goals and will partner with and support other Texas Development stakeholders at UT Austin. The PMAs will have a foundational role in realizing Texas Development's goal of becoming a $1B/year fundraising operation and advancing UT's strategic plan to become the world's highest impact public research university. Prospect Management is focused on the strategic planning, timely recording, and accurate reporting of significant moments in the relationship between prospective donors and the University which lead to philanthropic support
  • Responsibilities
  • Build and foster strong relationships with fundraising colleagues across campus
  • Partner with assigned development officers to regularly review, rebalance and strengthen portfolios and the donor pipeline; help manage prospects in the CRM system as they move through the donor/prospect lifecycle
  • Hold regular portfolio reviews to ensure data quality and accurate documentation of fundraising activity and filed proposals
  • Administer prospect management policy and offer consultation on policy guidelines
  • Provide training on CRM system and related processes
  • Remain in frequent communication with development officers, prospect researchers, development associates, development specialists and other colleagues/stakeholders to ensure highest level of support
  • Maintain prospect data quality and confidential information
  • Other related functions as assigned
  • Required Qualifications
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate._
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with development databases and donor information services such as Blackbaud, Foundation Directory, iWave, LexisNexis Universe for Development Professionals, Wealth-X, or other online prospect research tools. Experience with Salesforce Affinaquest a bonus. Experience in project management, client services or training. Familiarity with the recommended skills, mission and vision outlined by Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA).
  • Salary Range
- $55,000 + depending on qualifications
