- Responsible for administering the project construction contract documents and inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance with project, regulations, and project specifications.
- Verify the quality of construction materials and workmanship, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team and subcontractors to ensure adherence to construction plans and schedules.
- Document and report any observed deviations from plans, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective action.
- Conduct final inspections and prepare reports for the project's completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, daily work reports, and correspondence related to the project.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a roadway project administrator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of highway construction and FDOT specifications, regulations, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with the inspection process and ability to identify and address construction issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey project findings and recommendations.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with and supervise other project staff .
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with CPM schedule, and MS Office and report writing.
