Position:
The Gesellschaft für Informatik e.
V. (GI) is looking for a student assistant to support and assist the Young GI. You will support our diverse work with universities and students in the field of computer science.
Your main focus will be on expanding and maintaining a nationwide network of computer science students and GI student groups, as well as supporting the management of the Young GI.
You will work at the interface between science, business, and civil society and see yourself as an active contributor to a young computer science culture.
Your tasks will include communication, network building and maintenance, (online) event management, and research, which you can shape with your own ideas and dedication.
The position is initially limited to 12 months. The weekly working hours are 16 hours. The application deadline is November 30, 2023. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Support and assistance for the Young GI
- Strategic implementation of improvements for the community
- Participation in relevant conferences, such as the Conference of Computer Science Student Representatives
- Participation in meetings of the Young GI and possibly support in planning
- Management of the finances of the Young GI
- Improvements and changes to the website
Your profile:
- You are a student of computer science, media informatics, or another related field.
- Previous experience in project management and/or community management is an advantage.
