Responsibilities:

-
Medical Records Requests - Print, prepare, review and fax and scan any requests to Patients, Medical Professionals and Attorney Offices. Handle accordingly to assure HIPPA regulations are not violated. Document transfer of records into system so that they may be billed correctly. (Thursday or Friday Weekly)

Review Incoming faxes from insurance carriers' adjusters, NCMs, TPA and other medical office and handle any requests for records.

DOT Physicals
  • Data Entry all DOT physicals into the National Registry
  • FMCSA Return all Pending Determinations to the Front Desk HOLD File and Review DOT in System to confirm completeness of scanned paperwork before shredding.
  • Review the
    Open Case Report monthly to close any cases that were not closed correctly at checkout.
  • Assist the CA with the
    "Done Report" at the end of month so that invoices can be processed. Help locate physicals or charts and complete, delete errors or upload as needed.
  • Drug Screen and Breath Alcohol Testing, and some Medical Assistant job duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Communication Skills, Administrative Skills, Critical Thinking, Multi-Tasking and Time Management and Detail Oriented.
  • Medical Assistant or previous medical office experience preferred.
  • Healthcare background preferred. Referral Coordinator background is a plus.
