TRAK Machine Tools (TMT) manufactures CNC controls and CNC machine tools for R & D, tooling, and low-volume machining applications. They integrate CNC controls with machine tools and sell the finished products as turnkey systems under the brand names of TRAK and ProtoTRAK. They directly sell to users in much of the United States, with distributor sales in other parts of North America and Europe.

Job Overview

The company is seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in general accounting and be versatile, willing to cross-train in different accounting functions and act as support for other team members.

Compensation

The base salary range for this full-time role is $55,000 to $80,000 per year along with benefits. The displayed range represents the salary targets for this position. Individual compensation may vary based on factors like location, skills, experience, and education.

Duties

Accounts receivable and payable
Assist in managing invoicing & RMA credit process
Handle banking and cash management activities
Supervise in-house equipment leasing program
Participate in internal and sales tax audits
401k plan reporting
Coordinate with field personnel on employee benefits
Support month-end and year-end closing
Department P&L reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years of experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, Salesforce knowledge is a plus
Experience with ERP software, Syteline familiarity is a plus
