Task description:

The Senior Expert will be responsible for coordinating the technical assistance provided by this project.

They will propose actions, coordinate activities, assign tasks, develop operational plans, ensure quality control, and serve as the main point of contact for contract execution.

They will also be responsible for timely and high-quality delivery of all results, products, and activities outlined in the contract.

The Senior Expert will provide intellectual input, recommendations, and suggestions, as well as have a holistic vision to achieve the expected institutional strengthening, with a focus on improved capacities of organizations and contributions to the development of public policies and monitoring their implementation.

Indicatively, but not exhaustively, the person in charge of this area will also be responsible for:

Organizing and supervising activities in accordance with European Union procedures;
Coordinating with all stakeholders involved in project implementation;
Developing an annual plan for shortterm technical assistance required during the period. This will be done in coordination and approval of the EU Delegation in Honduras;
Preparing terms of reference for shortterm technical assistance;
Coordinating and overseeing technical assistance missions and ensuring the quality of their work;
