Description

Oxford's client is currently seeking a skilled Embedded Software Developer to join their team.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week. The role will require 50% onsite work in Kaufering, ideally located in Bavaria.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing embedded software for IoT products.

You will also be responsible for developing embedded software for networked devices and modules, including communication with the IoT Cloud and interfaces for mobile and web applications.

You will work closely with product owners and managers to specify requirements for new IoT solutions, following the development process.

Together with solution architects and internal and external development teams, you will implement requirements for new IoT solutions.

You will be responsible for the product life cycle of IoT products.

In addition, you will support and further develop the software architecture and specify interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have a completed university degree (Bachelor or Master) in computer science or software engineering (Diploma, Master).

You should also have 6-10 years of relevant professional experience in designing and implementing embedded software, with a focus on communication, security, and IoT (microcontrollers, flash memory, I2C, UART, etc.).

You should have knowledge of common programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, and Python.
