- Show rent ready apartments.
- Meet with prospective applicants.
- Monitoring income qualified households by way of file pre-approvals, to ensure affordability levels are maintained, applicable rents and utility allowances are in place.
- Interviews, determines, and processes eligible households for programs in which the qualify for.
- Review incoming request for lease approval or lease transfer for rent
- Performs all annual reexaminations as well as computing any interim rent changes (as applicable)
- Audits and ensures that resident files contain required verifications and acceptable documentations.
- Follow up with On-site managers regarding deficiencies and corrections
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendor in obtaining Rent Comparable Study when needed for Contract Renewal.
- Must be able to work some weekends and extended hours.
- Must be a self-starter who is organized, detail oriented, and can effectively deal with and prioritize a variety of tasks.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, professionalism, integrity and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance.
- Ability to maintain work pace appropriate to given workload.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Ability to perform complex or varied tasks.
- Ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions.
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License and automobile insurance in order to drive for business purposes or have reliable transportation.
- Be a team player.
- Must attend Company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which, from time to time, may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in the customer service industry
- Must have working knowledge of Windows and Office 2000 software; Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Yardi experience a plus.
- Must possess excellent math skills.
- Exposure to various types of weather conditions
