- Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process from claim submission to resolution
- Create, manage, and process replacement orders for RMAs
- Identify, generate, and manage freight claims with distribution carriers
- Boost sales by providing product and technical information promptly
- Understand customer needs to recommend suitable products and solutions
- Suggest alternative products based on various factors
- Accurately handle customer transactions like orders, quotes, or returns
- Provide precise information about in-stock item availability
- Get accurate details from vendors regarding shipment dates and expected delivery dates
- Ensure timely delivery by monitoring scheduled shipment dates
- Follow up with customers post-sales to ensure satisfaction and address complaints
- Identify customer satisfaction trends
- Effectively manage time, meet goals, and collaborate with the distribution team
- Manage unauthorized returned packages and notify customers of denied returns
- Reship packages to customers
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field preferred
- 2+ years' call center experience preferred
- Experience in a Manufacturing/Distribution environment preferred
- Preferred experience with SAP or NetSuite
- CX experience is a plus
- Good customer relations skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal skills to engage with individuals at all organizational levels

The RMA Customer Service Representative is mainly in charge of giving the best customer support and managing accounts.
Qualifications
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The RMA Customer Service Representative role operates in a professional office setting and includes the use of standard office equipment. The employee is mostly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. The job may require occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds. The noise level is usually moderate, and close vision is necessary.
While weather conditions do not affect the job, the position may occasionally require overtime, including weekends.
Position Type/ Work Schedule
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime may be needed on weekends. No travel is required.
No supervisory responsibilities are associated with this role.
