    Sentara Health is looking to fill the position of HR Business Operations Coordinator


    The job is based in VA with an opportunity for REMOTE work - work from home is available in select states only:


    Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin


    This is a full-time role with day shift hours and offers excellent benefits


    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree Preferred.
    • Requires 2 or more years of related experience.
    • Basic knowledge of HR Solutions and HR Shared Services experience is preferred.
    • Experience with the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system is preferred.
    • Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills.
    • Data Analytics and Data Visualization experience.
    Responsibilities:

    -Works in collaboration with department leadership to offer guidance and education to division leaders and staff on policies, procedures, initiatives, and programs related to the department's function and areas of responsibility.

    -Participates in the planning and execution of department-initiated programs, including support for ongoing monitoring.

    -Creates moderate to complex reports and presentations to support department operations or special projects using various business tools like Microsoft Office applications, report writers, databases, or proprietary/commercial information systems.

    Additional duties include:
    • Supporting the Director of HR Shared Services and HR Managers in Benefits, Workday Admin, Onboarding, and HR Compliance
    • Coordinating meetings, planning projects, managing workload, and involving stakeholders for progress
    • Managing Leadership calendars
    • Handling administrative tasks such as onsite meeting coordination (minutes, travel, lunch, etc.)

    Job Summary:
