Are you a student in a scientific field looking to gain industry experience? Are you a self-motivated individual who works well independently? Our "Image Analysis" team at HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH in Aalen is seeking a dedicated student (m/f/d) to develop an MTI algorithm for detecting moving objects in image sequences. We are developing an innovative real-time image processing application to enhance and analyze video data, merge sensor data, and make the invisible visible, detect threats, and automate manual evaluation processes. As part of your thesis, you will work closely with the development team using video data from the latest camera sensors or camera prototypes. We look forward to receiving your application.

Your Tasks

  • Conduct a literature review on the development of current motion detection in the MIT field
  • Develop a diagnostic algorithm for detecting moving objects in video, with the camera performing its own movements (PTZ camera)
  • Implement and evaluate a prototype
