Are you interested in a sweet apprenticeship at Westfield? If you have a passion for scientific questions and enjoy both practical and theoretical work in a chemistry laboratory, then an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory assistant (m/f/d) is just right for you.

During the apprenticeship, you will work largely independently within a team.

Your tasks will include the practical preparation and execution of experiments, observation and evaluation of results, as well as conducting chemical analyses and documenting work steps and measurement data.


What you will learn during the apprenticeship:

  • Working in the laboratory on research projects
  • Producing substances and preparations, operating experimental systems
  • Analyzing finished products and byproducts chemically and physicochemically
  • Testing auxiliary materials and intermediate products for application technology
  • Documenting test results
  • Occupational safety
  • Environmental protection
  • Quality assurance

What you should bring:

  • Good secondary school diploma or high school diploma
  • At least good grades in mathematics and the natural sciences
  • Quick comprehension and observation skills
  • Interest in natural sciences
  • Reliability and willingness to perform
  • Enjoyment and willingness to work independently as well as in a team
  • Interest in working with a computer
