    Shift: 4:30am - 12:30pm Monday-Friday


    Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring an experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances.

    Our ideal candidate knows the drill- the experience you've gained has enabled you to help clients overcome the behavioral health challenges presented by the growing opioid epidemic.

    Whether facilitating individual or group sessions, or assisting patients with treatment plans and coping strategies, you'll do your part to help foster a safe place for anyone looking to start their recovery journey with CMS.

    • Maintain and manage a caseload in compliance with regulatory standards and ratios.
    • Maintain and apply knowledge of new developments in the field of substance use as required by specific state licensure.
    • Mentor less tenured CMS counselors as needed.
    • Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments and individualized treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and unique client needs.
    • Assist in screening and coordinating primary care services for clients.
    Behavioral health experience in Counseling or Case Management preferred
