Description

The Prairie Home Fuel Cell Program Manager is responsible for leading new product development projects for assigned customers across multiple geographical regions.

The main objective is to achieve planned profitability, quality, and on-time schedule to meet business and customer expectations.

This role requires coordination with a multi-functional team including engineering (mechanical, electrical, and software), prototype, launch procurement, product assurance, and manufacturing teams.

Key job areas and responsibilities include:

Initiate and Planning:

Create and define project scope, including planning, resource allocation, financial summary, technical information, manufacturing, and supplier strategy for new application development.
Develop a detailed project plan based on the NPI (New Product Introduction) process, with allocated resources and deliverables for each step.
Align timing plan with customer and base product development key milestones.
Regularly maintain and update the project plan with accurate data, and escalate any deviations to the customer and key stakeholders.

Execution:

Deliver on commitments for scope, cost, quality, timing, and project deliverables, in line with organizational strategy and goals.
Implement a robust review mechanism with stakeholders to successfully execute the agreed plan.
Follow the NPI change management process in case of any deviations to the baseline, and drive mitigation actions to address any issues.
Identify and deploy project modifications following the NPI change management process.
Manage customer change requests following the NPI change management process.
