Together with the city of Regensburg, shape the future

We are looking for a specialist (m/f/d) in part-time for public relations, media communication, editorial tasks and event organization for the Press and Public Relations department.
The position has a high external impact, is diverse and offers room for creativity.


Position classification:
EG 11 TVöD

Fixed-term contract: until October 31, 2026 as a parental leave replacement

Working hours: 24 hours per week

What are your main tasks?
Your responsibilities include all measures related to an informative and consistent representation of the Regensburg city administration, in particular:

  • Development and implementation of public relations campaigns
  • Conceptual and organizational preparation of events and projects
  • Preparation and final editing of municipal publications according to corporate design guidelines
  • Communication with the media
  • Internal communication and editorial management of the employee magazine
  • Writing press releases, speeches and greetings
Changes to the area of responsibility are reserved.


What are we looking for?

Application requirements:


  • You have a university or bachelor's degree in journalism or in the linguistic or social sciences field.

We also expect:


  • Relevant professional experience in the field of journalism or public relations
  • Experience in project management
  • You not only have a way with words, but also have a trained eye for design and layout. You are creative and know how to implement your ideas with organizational skill.
