At Evotec, we understand the importance of biomarkers in the integrated drug discovery process and clinical development.

That's why we have a dedicated team in our Global Translational Biomarker department focused on discovering and validating biomarkers for target engagement, efficacy, patient stratification, and diagnosis.

We are currently seeking a Research Scientist (f/m/d) to join our team in Ellington, MO.


In this role, you will play a crucial part in our efforts to develop new biomarkers for the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders, with a particular focus on CSF and imaging markers.

You will provide scientific input, design studies, and interpret data for translatable efficacy models.

Additionally, you will lead or co-lead projects for clients, both internal and external, in the field of neurodegeneration and biomarkers.


As part of our team, you will work in a matrix environment to support the development and validation of biomarkers.

You will also lead a team of research assistants in this area.

Collaboration with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, will be essential in delivering high-quality biomarker data to advance our projects.

You will also support our Human Sample Acquisition (HSA) global team by managing requests for human samples and ensuring compliance with all laws and Evotec's policies.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Ph.
D. in Life Sciences or a related field, with several years of PostDoc experience in a similar role, preferably within Pharma or Biotech
