    Trim Sales Specialist - San Diego, United States - The AZEK Company

    The Market Development Manager
    • Exteriors is responsible for generating awareness of, creating demand for, and generating sales of AZEK's Exterior Trim and Molding products among architects, target builders, target multi family/commercial developers, remodelers, and contractors/installers in their geographic area of responsibility.

    This is not a managerial position, rather this sales position is an individual contributor role that reports to a Regional Sales Manager and will be based on San Diego, CA.


    We believe the successful candidate will have:

    BA/BS degree or equivalent preferredEntrepreneurial Mindset, Curiosity, Self-awareness, Leadership traits with a growth mindsetDesire to learn and improve skill set.


    Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

    Create and manage a list of target builders, target multi-family/commercial developers, remodelers, contractors/installers in their geographic area of responsibility.

    Meet with end users to generate awareness and understanding of AZEK's Trim/Siding products and convert them to ongoing customers.
    Provide in-field training to end users as appropriate.
    Generate, track and coordinate opportunities (leads) with the appropriate local dealers and their sales representatives.

    Success Measures:
    Ninety (90) days:Have met with your top twenty dealers and contractors.
    Completed Product Training on all three product lines.
    Been trained on giving AIA presentation and Action Selling.
    Six (6)

    Months:10 Contractor Conversations10 AIA PresentationsOne (1) year:Exceed Sales Incentive Plan goal for sales and product line growth.
    Achieve pre-set revenue guidelines for conversation opportunities.
    Procure potential conversation opportunities in your pipeline exceeding 150% of your above goal.

    Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set and level of experience.

    The annual salary for this role is $67,500 to $85,000. In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.#LI-JS1
