    Job Title: Maintenance Assistant at Bell Partners

    Purpose of the Job: The Maintenance Assistant works under the direction of the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Manager, responsible for various groundskeeping, make ready, and housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community.


    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain the grounds of the assigned property
    • Ensure cleanliness outside each building and surrounding grounds
    • Keep a uniform landscaped look, including picking up debris, cleaning gutters, tending to flowerbeds, trees, and shrubs
    • Perform pool maintenance and snow removal tasks when necessary
    • Follow procedures for basic maintenance of tools and equipment
    • Clean and remove trash, spread salt to prevent ice buildup, among others

    Make Ready/Housekeeper Duties:

    • Clean vacated apartments and common areas as directed
    • Maintain amenities in a clean and orderly manner
    • Assist maintenance team in various tasks such as painting, moving appliances, etc.
    • Follow safety and OSHA requirements diligently

    Additional Functions:

    • Perform additional duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Basic understanding of landscaping and groundskeeping
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Available to work flexible hours
    • At least 18 years of age with relevant experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Knowledge in HVAC/EPA certifications may be needed

    Physical and Mental Requirements:

    Physical requirements involve manual tasks, lifting, walking, and more. Mental requirements include basic math skills, comprehension, and decision-making abilities.


    Work Environment:

    Varied work environment that may involve shifts, verbal contact with others, and exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment.


    Compensation Range:

    Hourly: $20.50. Incentive compensation opportunities available based on performance.
