    Description

    Job Summary

    The MRI Technologist will work in a team environment to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include acquiring, processing, and archiving MRI images while ensuring patient well-being during procedures. *Saturday Shifts Required*

    Clinical Duties

    • Engage with patients, visitors, and staff
    • Perform MRIs and radiological procedures:
      • Review imaging requests and consult with radiologists if needed
      • Position patients for optimal imaging
      • Monitor patients for changes in condition
      • Evaluate image quality
      • Explain procedures to patients
      • Administer contrast media as required
    • Maintain and operate equipment, keep records, and assist with administrative tasks
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Job Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
    • NYS License, ARRT certified, MRI Registry eligible
    • New York BLS certified
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in a diverse environment and handle stressful situations
    • Detail-oriented, flexible, and independent
    • Organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in computer applications
    • Motivated with a positive attitude
    • Flexible schedule

    Hourly Rate: $69.14

    Note: Salary is based on various factors such as experience and education.
