Creators are the heart and soul of TikTok.

The Creator team's mission is to facilitate our Creator community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs.

This team will also create scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world.

Within the Creator Team, the Creator Engagement & Community team is responsible for:

  • Developing creator programs based on content ecosystem and product needs/opportunities (eg CPB, 1min+ creator onboarding program, creator plan for Met Gala, booktok creator program, etc).
  • Developing frameworks for community building through DE&I initiatives, GR social impact needs and creator recognition programs (eg BlackTikTok, CasaTikTok, TTfG, Ambassador programs, Creator Councils, etc). Standardize how we drive creator advocacy.
  • Building creator campaigns around scaled programs, scaled education, DE&I, and creator recognition that target TT creators and nonTT creators and are aimed at changing perception and driving creator engagement.
  • Unify our approach to key creator events (eg TikTok Awards, creator summits) and key creator industry events (eg Vidcon).
  • For all of the above, responsible for scaling these efforts to local/regional teams ensure constant dialogue and valueadd as well as responsible for executing in NA.
  • This role reports into the Head of Creator Marketing on the Creator Engagement & Community Team
  • Develop and execute a variety of creator campaigns in NA targeting TT creators and nonTT creators to drive trust, amplify key creator narratives, change creator perception and drive product adoption
  • Work in close collaboration with Marketing COEs (PMM, B&C, Media, Research) to bring these creator marketing campaigns to life in app and/or off platform, from creative development to the media plan to post campaign measurement and insights
  • Develop playbooks for creator campaigns to share with local/regional teams to execute in their markets for their creator marketing needs.
  • Establish creator campaigns calendar for 2024 for North America in alignment with Creator Team business objectives.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Event experience in the creator ecosystem
  • 5+ years in a creator marketing or community role
  • Experience delivering engaging, impactful marketing campaigns, especially in the creator space
  • Strong crossfunctional skills, with experience collaborating and driving consensus among teams across different workstreams, priorities, and regions

  • Strong organization skills; proven project management, budget management, and overall campaign management experience
  • Detailoriented; elevating our creator narratives and business priorities through best in class campaigns
  • Resultsdriven; able to create thoughtful campaign strategy that drives towards business goals, and has experience measuring and recapping success from these activations
  • Creative; delivers unique campaigns that are reflective of and authentic to TikTok's creator community
  • Inclusive thinker who promotes diversity; thinks about and engages with global markets to create the best regional activity aligned with our diverse platform
