We are seeking a Medical Technical Assistant (m/f/d) for our Institute of Pathology.


Requirements:

  • Completed training as a medical technical assistant and ideally experience in histology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry
  • Interest in the manual processing of histological tissue samples
  • Commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Independent, structured, and proactive work style

Our Specialties:

  • A modern Institute of Pathology including digital pathology and molecular pathology
  • A dedicated and innovative team with challenging tasks
  • Regular working hours without weekend or night shifts

Your main responsibilities:

  • Working with microtomes
  • Preparation of frozen section samples
  • Operating dehydration, embedding, and staining machines
  • Participation in immunohistology
  • Preparation of cytology samples
  • Receiving examination materials in the NEXUS-Pathology subsystem
  • Assisting in sample cutting
  • Processing bone samples
  • Depending on qualifications and interests, participation in molecular pathology
