The county of Potsdam-Mittelmark, Department of Social Affairs (municipal job center) is seeking a

Case Manager for the Intake Zone (m/f/d)
to start as soon as possible.

This position will be based in the Department of Social Affairs, Integration and Counseling/Employer Services in
Bad Belzig with a weekly working time of 39 hours.

The position is classified in pay group 6 TVöD (VKA).

Your responsibilities will include:

Initial consultation and clarification of the personal situation of applicants for benefits according to SGB II
Legal advice on priority benefits from other providers
Providing binding information on SGB II benefits, labor market and social integration services
Entering and maintaining data of SGB II beneficiaries in the OPEN-Prosoz SGBII software, ensuring data quality
Supporting case managers for basic security and integration specialists with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, sending invitations, recording results of measures, and requesting documents

What we expect:

Completed training as a
civil servant,
social security clerk, or
specialist for employment promotion
Knowledge of social and procedural law, especially SGB II
Flexibility, independent work style, good communication skills
High physical and mental resilience
Proficiency in standard software and OPEN-Prosoz SGB II
